Bayshore, New York – August 9, 2021 – Blue Peak Resources, a merger and acquisitions consulting firm, is pleased to announce the sale of StarLite Propane of Bayshore, NY, to Ferrellgas, a nationwide propane retailer headquartered in Overland Park, KS.
StarLite Propane was founded in 1982 by John DiBiasi. With a solid background in construction, John was urged by two close friends to enter into the propane business. Although he had no prior experience, John had a strong work ethic and the desire to learn as much as he could as quickly as he could, plus he saw great potential for propane sales and service on Long Island. Nearly 40 years later the company has evolved into one of the premier propane companies in the NY Metro area.
