John Armentano

John Armentano, a co-founder of Blue Peak Resources, began his career in the family business at Paraco Gas. John has over 30 years of sales, operations, and merger and acquisition experience, having started with Paraco Gas once he graduated from Mercy College in May 1986. Throughout his tenure at Paraco Gas, he held various sales and operational positions. In 1992, John became VP of Sales, and after leading the company through 12 years of growth, he assumed the role of VP of Business Development in 2005. It was in that role where he flourished. It provided John with an opportunity to cultivate and engineer over 25 successful acquisitions and develop an understanding of the importance of the right partners. John also served as District Director of the New York State Propane Gas Association, was a member of the Board of Directors for the Propane Gas Association of New England, and is an active member of the NPGA Marketers Forum. John spent six years as a board member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the Hudson Valley, where he still stays active in supporting their mission.
Mike Gioffre

Michael Gioffre, a co-founder of Blue Peak Resources, began his career at Paraco Gas in 1993 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. While serving in that role, he successfully established Paraco Gas as a nationally recognized company through strategic marketing, sales, and public relations efforts. Mike was instrumental in numerous acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and business startups which expanded Paraco’s national reach. Before Paraco Gas, Mike was Director of Sales and Marketing for NYNEX Meridian Systems, Northern Telecom. He is the former chairman of the New York State Propane Gas Association Marketing Committee and a member and former chairman of the PERC – Residential Commercial Advisory Council Chair for the Manufactured Housing Sub-Committee. Mike earned his BS degree from Springfield College in 1985, was a Foundation Board Member for the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, and is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and the Homeless.

Mike joins Blue Peak Resources after a 30-year career at Paraco Gas and Silverback Consulting. His passion and commitment are to educate, keep companies in compliance, and emphasize the importance of risk management together with educating companies and their employees. Mike is also the founder of Propane University, a virtual classroom for propane safety and education, where he is an instructor teaching all the CETP programs and more. Andy Hino

Andy joins Blue Peak Resources after a 26-year career at AmeriGas Propane as the Director of Corporate Development. He brings extensive knowledge and experience to the mergers and acquisitions process from both the buyer and the seller perspectives, having participated in over 30 acquisitions and 35 divestiture transactions during his AmeriGas tenure. Before his time at AmeriGas, Andy worked as a Senior Internal Auditor for Sterling Winthrop Pharmaceuticals of New York and as an Auditor for Arthur Andersen & Company. Andy received his accounting degree and MBA from Villanova University, is a CPA, and is an active member of the NPGA Conventions Committee.
Tom Jaenicke

Continuing a distinguished career in the propane industry that spans five decades, Tom joins Blue Peak Resources. His broad business background, from having boots on the ground to operations, and sales and marketing leadership roles, enabled Tom to work at the highest levels of management with some of the industry’s largest companies. Tom currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Propane Gas Association as District #6 Director and is active on the Conventions and Governmental Affairs committees. He is a frequent contributor to LP Gas magazine and facilitates a benchmarking group for NPGA. Tom’s business development experience includes working with business owners on projects involving mergers, divestitures, and succession planning. Trust, integrity, and confidentiality are hallmarks of Tom’s work with business owners. He resides in the Charlevoix, Michigan area where he has a small vineyard and commercial winery operation as a diversion from his work in the propane industry.
Steve Sheffield

After completing a distinguished career in the propane industry spanning over 25 years, Steve joins Blue Peak Resources. His experience with TexGas, Suburban Propane, AmeriGas, and Heritage Propane afforded him increasing levels of responsibility from small operations management to Senior Vice President of Operations/Marketing. In his many roles, Steve participated in multiple acquisitions that were immediately accretive, requiring funding and business plan development. Once mergers were completed, Steve played a crucial role in blending acquired operations into ongoing operations, as well as managing other functional areas including human resources, marketing, and risk management. A graduate of the College of Wooster (Ohio) with an MBA from Syracuse University, Steve is highly skilled in financial analysis, quantitative business decision-making, and sales. He is currently a full-time faculty member in the Business Management Department at Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Bob joins Blue Peak Resources after distinguishing himself for nearly 18 years as President of Sharp Energy (Chesapeake Utilities Corporation). He brings extensive mergers and acquisitions experience, having managed a number of them throughout his tenure at Sharp Energy. Bob thrives when planning and analyzing acquisition opportunities and understands the commitment and effort needed for successful outcomes. Providing excellence in value and service to clients is what Bob knows best, having instilled these principles in his team at Sharp Energy, resulting in recognition as “Best Gas Company” in 2017 by The Metropolitan Magazine. Bob is a graduate of John Carroll University in Business Administration and attained an MBA from Cleveland State University.

Lisa Gioffre Baird joins Blue Peak Resources as Legal Counsel. With more than 33 years as an attorney, licensed in both New York and Connecticut, Lisa represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in both commercial and residential real estate transactions, is a licensed title agent in Connecticut, and also practices in the areas of trusts and estates and probate law. She is dedicated to ensuring that all of her clients’ transactions are seamless. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University and her Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law. She is extremely well versed in her field and will bring her attention to detail and responsiveness to client needs to the team.
Gaston Wilson
Gaston joins Blue Peak Resources as a licensed Certified Public Accountant. With more than 25 years as a practicing CPA, Gaston has a passion for helping small to mid-sized companies manage and grow their financial well-being. With a strong accounting, governance, and technology background, he is extremely knowledgeable in working on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Gaston is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Accountancy, as well as a five-year alumnus of the public accounting firm Ernst & Young in Charlotte, NC, where he currently resides.
Jeremy Glaisher
Jeremy Glaisher joins Blue Peak Resources, continuing a 30 year career in the propane industry. He brings extensive experience in the areas of management, safety, and technical compliance. In 2007 Jeremy established JG Energy Solutions, focusing on consulting services and design/build of propane storage facilities, serving both local and multi state marketers. He has been active with the Propane Education and Research Council and the Colorado Propane Gas Association. Jeremy’s passions when not working include exploring the mountains and rivers of Colorado and the Southwest.
Paula Wilson

With over 35 years in the propane industry, Paula Wilson is a seasoned business and marketing executive specializing in strategic planning, market growth, and community-oriented branding. She has held leadership roles at AmeriGas Propane and the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC), where she led impactful marketing initiatives and industry engagement programs. Paula has served on the NPGA Board of Directors, chaired PERC’s Council, and is active in the Women in Propane Council. Her dedication to fostering growth for marketers and enhancing industry collaboration makes her a valuable addition to Blue Peak Resources.
